I am 34 years old and have been passionate about technology since I got my first PC at 11. For the past 23 years, ICT has been both my main hobby and career. I studied ICT, Business, and Photography at college before landing my first IT job in 2010. This role was with a small software development company, where I was part of the support team, assisting users—mainly schools—with their software needs.

Afterward, I transitioned into the public sector as a network engineer, where my role was split between managing networks and telephony. I primarily supported a Cisco network and Cisco Call Manager. Fast forward to today, I still work at the same organization but in a different department that focuses on telephony and airwave devices. I now support an aging Cisco Call Manager, Avaya CS1K, AudioCodes SBCs, and Skype for Business (which I’m not a fan of). We’re currently planning to migrate around 15,000 users to Teams, with my primary focus day to day is all things telephony.

My career has been a roller coaster, full of exciting challenges, twists, and turns. I’ve enjoyed every moment and had the privilege of meeting and befriending many incredible people along the way.
